Twifo Praso (C/R), March 7, GNA - Two drivers from Twifo Praso were on Monday fined a total of 1.920 million cedis by the Twifo Praso district magistrate court for motor traffic offences by
Samuel Ofori and James Appiah who pleaded guilty of picking passengers at unauthorized places were fined 960,000 cedis each and would go to prison for six months each in default.
Prosecuting chief Inspector George Okine told the court that on February 16 and February 21 the convicts were arrested by the police for picking passengers at a "T. junction" in Twifo Praso.
