Six people injured in motor accident

Tepa (Ash), March 14, GNA - Six people sustained various degrees of injuries when a taxicab with registration number GT 1665 R, travelling from Wioso to Tepa was involved in an accident at the outskirts of Anyinasuso on Monday.
   The injured persons: Akosua Nsiah 45, Mary Nsiah 35, Esther Mawate 40, Manuba Daniel 6, Kwaku Duah 58 and the driver, Patrick Adarkwa Yiadom, 29 who are on admission at the Tepa District Hospital are responding to treatment.
  The Medical Superintendent at the Hospital, Dr Akuamoah Boateng, said Akosua Nsiah and Mary Nsiah who were in critical condition had to be rushed to the operation theatre.Two other passengers, Kate Anane, 22 and his two-year old son, Bismarck Amankwaah were treated and discharged.
     Briefing newsmen, Inspector Francis Asante of Motor Traffic and Transportation Unit of the Police Service, said the left back tyre of the taxi burst and skidded off the road and banged on a covert before somersaulting.
