Ghanaians urged to avoid indiscipline, bribery and corruption

Kumasi, March 6, GNA - Reverend David Yalley, Superintendent Minister
in-charge of the Emmanuel Methodist Church at Atonsu in the Kumasi
metropolis, has urged Ghanaians to stand against indiscipline, bribery
and corruption, nepotism and other negative practices that impede
development.
He noted that the development of the country demanded the
collective responsibility of individuals to contribute their quota to
complement government's efforts at nation building.
Rev Yalley was preaching a sermon at the Emmanuel Methodist
Church in Kumasi on Sunday as part of activities to celebrate
Ghana@50.He praised the founding fathers for their good works,
initiative and foresight in the attainment of independence and urged
Ghanaians to build on the good foundation laid by the great past
leaders.Rev Yalley stressed the need for the people to use the
anniversary for reconciliation and unity as one people, one nation
with a common destiny.
He asked the people to embrace government's policies and
programmes especially the National Health Insurance Scheme to enable
them to receive the needed health care.
