MP donates executive chairs to La Traditional Council

Accra, Feb. 07, GNA - Nii Amasah Namoale, Member of Parliament for Dadekotopon on Wednesday donated 29 executive chairs valued at 34 million cedis to the La Traditional Council to be used for their meetings.The chairs were acquired from the MP's Common Fund to reward the chiefs and people of La for demonstrating an unflinching commitment and dedication to stay united in all endeavours.
   "The people of La are now united and therefore prepared to jaw jaw in order for them to develop," Nii Namoale said.
    He urged all of them to recognise the La Traditional Council as the custodians of all La lands and said, "Any development activity on the land other than the reason for which it was acquired, should be done in consultation with the Council."Nii Kpopi Tettey-Tsuru I, Chief of La, who received the chairs on behalf of the council thanked the MP for the kind gesture.He said the comfort from the chairs would enhance their meeting deliberations and enable them to take decisions towards the development of La.
