Status Committee meets on Thursday

Accra, Feb 12, GNA – The Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has invited a number of players seeking floating status at its next sitting on Thursday, February 15.

The invited players are Abdul Razak – Great Africans/Ebony Int. FC, Owusu Acheaw – Freedom Stars FC, Michael Dzigbordi Asafo, Peter Bruce, Rockson Dadzie – Nana Kyebe FC, Abraham Odartey Lamptey – ECOMOG FC, Tony A Addae – B.A. United, Baah Sarpong - Chicago FC, Awal Abubakari – King Faisal FC.

The rest are Steven Oppong – Wonder Boys FC, Samuel Benya – Zaytuna FC, Ezekiel Nana Bamfo – Maxbees FC, Latif Salifu, Kwakwo Frimpong – Cita FC, Ebenezer Bonna – Indece FC, Richard Armah, Sumaila Abubakari – Great Olympics, Osborne Sakyiama – Ebony FC, Agyapong Fredrick – Tema Hearts Babies, Eric Ackon – Great Mariners, Emmanuel Adu Offei – Hearts of Lions, Kwabena Boakye – Neoplan Stars, Kwabena Boateng – Norchip FC and Robert Twumasi – Red Power FC.

A statement issued by Mr Kweku Ampim Darko, Deputy General Secretary of the GFA copied to the GNA Sports said the Committee will strike out cases if the players and Clubs fail to appear before it.
